INTERACTION MAPPING

An interaction map is a flow chart that describes how your users will navigate your product's interface. It describes what information is present and where and what happens when the user clicks or presses a button. The map will describe multiple paths through the interface depending upon the user's task and other dependencies.

An interaction map helps developers identify what needs to happen on the back end and provides the basis for quality assurance testing.

Here's an example.
